So why he wants to be a politician, we have no idea. Blur drummer Dave Rowntree is running for office again in London as a Labour-party candidate (Labour, by the way, are ostensibly the good guys in Brit government). Here’s what he had to say in his previous election bid:

Dave is awesome (phhhst..so is blur pre-think tank!) If I was still living in London, I’d campaign for him!
On that note..it is also Graham Coxon (former Blur guitarist)’s birthday today.
