@Update 09/25/08 – Whoever wrote this must not know LearJets or just like to lie or are just misinformed. First of all you should find a picture of that jet interior which are all over the net now then you would realize the “Emergency Exit Doors” that they went out of are over the Right Wing located in the “Back” of the Jet in the Bathroom, not the door in the front. This door at times especially in flight may be hard to open and on some Jets are Pilot controlled. I would believe the bodyguard because of his strength and size opened the door and more than like held the door opened while Travis and DJ got out and more than likely didnt have time to get hisself and Chris out. According to the Coroner’s report Charles and Chris did not die of fire or smoke injuries no smoke was found in their lungs, they where killed by impacting something in the Jet which result in head and neck injuries. Im sure the NTSB report and Travis will fill in all these missing issues, but I know for a fact where that Emergency Exit was on that Jet its in the same place where most if not all LearJet 60 Emergency Doors are in the back of the Jet.
